IT Service Desk Professional

IT Service Desk Professional Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct end-user support and operations services according to established guidelines
  • Install, configure and support vast hardware, software and cloud based applications
  • Coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple, concurrent task
  • Escalate issues to appropriate teams as necessary

IT Service Desk Professional Will Be Trained To:

  • Provide project management and business analyst expertise to business units in implementing process improvements and applying technology to achieve business objectives
  • Design, implement, deliver and manage systems solutions to support business units and key corporate functions
  • Analyze, design and implement activities to drive improvements and change initiatives
  • Design, implement and deliver technology solutions that support business processes
  • Conduct system administration on corporate wide projects

Job Requirements

IT Service Desk Professional Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience collaborating with a small or medium sized team of IT professionals
  • Experience with Active Directory Users and Computers, Airwatch, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or other provisioning and management tools
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly communicate ideas and technical details to end-users
  • MUST have a strong desire and eagerness to learn new technologies and business concepts (outside of comfort zone)
  • Expertise with Windows Operating systems to include installing, configuring and troubleshooting/ resolving Windows OS issues
  • Well-versed in the maintenance and repair of PCs, printers, multi-function devices and hardware
  • Ability to document, track, monitor and resolve problems/ issues with a sense of urgency
  • Experience supporting networking devices and other remote access components
  • Experience providing Top Tier Customer Service in a professional environment
  • Strong organizational, diagnostic, problem solving and time-management skills
  • Experience Mac OSX, VoIP and voice mail support are pluses, but not required
  • Expertise with smartphones and tablet devices including iPhones and iPads
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems integration concepts
  • Experience configuring and implementing MS Office Suite applications
  • Experience managing system implementations and changes
  • Flexibility to be on-call 24x7 on a rotational basis required
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, energetic and eager to grow
  • Strong time-management skills; able to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to travel periodically to Chicago
  • Familiarity with SQL and data management
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Team driven

Pluses:

  • Previous experience supporting Market Data applications such as Factset and Morningstar Direct
  • Previous experience supporting SalesForce or other CRM platforms
