Customer Service Email Agent responsibilities:

  • 98% of correspondence is through email and 2% by telephone
  • respond to customer questions regarding online retail products and rebate questions
  • identify potential service issues based on emails received and report them to the IT department
  • navigate multiple computer sites simultaneously to determine solutions and answers to inquiries

Job Requirements

Customer Service Email Agent requirements:

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • minimum of 18 years of age
  • 2+ years of customer service experience required
  • effective and clear writing, grammar and spelling are key
  • proficiency with computer/ internet applications; minimum typing speed of 50 WPM

Customer Service Email Agent preferred skills:

  • ability to see patterns in communications to identify and report issues
  • professional/ good email etiquette
  • online shopping experience
